Character
Name: Lady Liadrin
Canon: World of Warcraft
Canon Point/Location: During the Fury of Hellfire patch, after Gorefiend leaves for Hellfire Citadel
Permissions: TBD, if needed.
Age: It's not polite to ask a lady her age! (Probably somewhere around the early 200s, considering blood elves can live to 600 .)
History: Lady Liadrin at WoWpedia
Personality: Liadrin was a model priestess in her youth, keeping faith in the Light. When she felt it failed her, she became jaded and embittered, sorely tested by the events of the Third War and the invasion of the Scourge that devastated her land, slew her king, and slaughtered her people. It devastated Liadrin as well; the people she looked up to as surrogate parents also died in the onslaught. She eschewed the Light she had put so much stock in as a fickle and worthless thing, and took up the life of a warrior.
When she was offered the power stolen from the Naaru M'uru, she grasped it with both hands, seeing in it a way to continue reinventing herself as she had in the war's wake. It also offered her a glimmer of hope, that she might help lead her people to a new age's dawning, becoming the first paladin, or Blood Knight, of the Sin'dorei.
Having served his father loyally, Liadrin took Prince Kael'thas' betrayal of his people harshly. She renounced her loyalties and swore to see Kael brought to justice, dedicating herself as a blade in defense of the blood elves. This has led her to being more proactive, joining forces with those who were once her enemies to defend her world, not simply her homeland.
Liadrin is sensible, not given to flights of fancy or dwelling on fantasies when there are things to be done. She prefers to have her actions speak for her, and she has wallowed enough in her life that it's unlikely that she will return to it. Times change, people change, and who best knows the path one walks, save the one who walks it?
Anything else: At first, she can be a bit snooty, but she'll warm up fairly quickly. Sin'dorei are passionate creatures.
